Unfortunately, you've stumbled upon Alex's blog. Here you will find lots of rantings, some of which don't make any sense, and a few gushes that make even less sense. Occasionally, I'll talk about my writing, but mostly just reblog whatever comes across my dash that I like. (Also, thanks to Meg for the handwriting art <3).
Also, further notes:
It was never going to be Aaron Johnson, sorry not sorry.
DOES ANYONE EVEN KNOW IF THAT JOSHUA GUY THAT EVERYONE IS SO OBSESSED WITH CASTING EVEN ACTS?
Someone is bitching about how angry they are that someone “SO INSIGNIFICANT” gets to play Augustus Waters, like, did you want Daniel Day Lewis or some shit? Unknowns are actually the best when it comes to casting a movie based on a book, because you know they didn’t get the role based on their name alone, and they don’t have any major prior roles that you’ll be stuck on throughout the course of the movie (like everyone comparing Amanda Seyfried’s Cosette to her character in Mean Girls, which I thought was dumb, but w/e people do it).
I don’t KNOW that he’ll be that great, and I haven’t even read the book yet, it just always amazes me when all we have to go on is a picture and people still seem to hate it so passionately.
